Retained advisory
Some clients prefer ongoing access to a consultant rather than project-based work. Our retained plans give you a fixed number of hours each month, billed on the first of the month by direct debit. You can cancel with 30 days notice.

Unused hours do not roll over. If you consistently use fewer hours than your plan includes, we will suggest you move down. We would rather keep you on a plan that fits than bill you for time you do not need.

Payment and terms
Project packages are invoiced in two instalments: 50% at the start of the engagement and 50% on delivery of the final report. We accept bank transfer and major credit cards.
Retained plans are billed monthly by direct debit. There is no minimum commitment beyond the current month, and you can cancel with 30 days written notice.
All prices on this page are valid until 31 March 2026. After that date, please contact us for a current quote. We review pricing annually and give existing retained clients at least 60 days notice of any increase.
If a project runs over the agreed scope because of factors within our control, we absorb the extra cost. If the scope changes because of new requirements from your side, we discuss the impact before doing any additional work and agree a revised fee in writing.
